Nathan (Gus) Siekierka Vice President, Human Resources
Mr. Siekierka is corporate vice president, human resources (HR) with global
responsibilities for the complete range of HR functions throughout CSC. Since joining CSC in 1973,
he has managed the full spectrum of human resources functions, including HR strategy, employment, compensation
and benefits, human resources development, employee and labor relations and policy formulation.
Formerly, Mr. Siekierka was vice president, human resources for various
business units within CSC, including Global Infrastructure Services, Technology Management Group,
Global Transformation Solutions, Americas Business Development and Federal Sector, where he
focused on executive selection, development, compensation and the implementation of automated
systems to increase the effectiveness of the various organizations. In addition, he has held
leadership responsibility for the marketing, proposal preparation, due diligence and transition
phases of numerous outsourcing engagements, as well as responsibility for due diligence and the
transition of employees for several major acquisitions.
Mr. Siekierka has addressed federal agencies on potential HR issues arising
from the transfer of federal civil service employees to the private sector that may result from
outsourcing. He has particular expertise and has been responsible for numerous CSC initiatives
involving automation of the staffing/recruiting function utilizing the latest network and web-based
technologies.
Mr. Siekierka has a BS degree in psychology from the University
of Maryland and an MBA degree in personnel management from George Washington University.
