CSC Wins Department of State Visa Application Contract
FALLS CHURCH, Va., March 16 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it is one of two companies to be awarded the Global Support Strategy (GSS) for Visa Services indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract by the Department of State (DoS) Bureau of Consular Affairs. The IDIQ has a one-year base period and nine one-year options, bringing the estimated total 10-year contract value to $2.8 billion for both firms.
Under the terms of the contract, CSC will compete for task orders to provide a range of visa-related business process support services, local stand-alone facilities, and oversight and management of visa-support services for U.S. embassies and consulates abroad.
