CSC JOINS MISSION SUPPORT ALLIANCE LLC TO SUPPORT DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY CONTRACT


FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 19 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced that it is joining the Mission Support Alliance LLC team as a subcontractor on the Department of Energy's recently announced award of a Mission Support Contract, which will provide site-wide services to support clean-up work at its Hanford site in southeastern Washington state. The contract value for CSC has not been finalized.

The Mission Support award is a cost-plus-award fee contract, with a total value of approximately $3 billion over ten years, including a five-year base period with options to extend for another five. The Mission Support Contract provides site-wide services in the areas of safety, security, environment, infrastructure, utilities, business management, information management and portfolio management.
