FALLS CHURCH, Va., Oct. 20 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it is one of five firms that have been awarded the Enterprise Development Support Services (EDSS) contract administered by the Department of Education’s Office of Federal Student Aid. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a five-year base period and five one-year options. The ceiling value for each contract awardee will not exceed $300 million for the total life of the contract. This contract was awarded to CSC during the company’s second quarter fiscal year 2009.
