Clive Flashman is a man with multiple strings to his bow. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, was one of the first onto the world wide web in 1995 running a forum within Compuserve, he was one of the leading innovators of Knowledge Management in the UK at the start of the dotcom boom and published in a range of journals at the time. He then reentered the NHS where he set up a national Knowledge System for patient safety, facilitated a WHO committee, co-chaired a global HL7 Special Interest Group and sat on the NHS Information Standards Board and NHS National Knowledge Service. He is Hon. Secretary of the eHealth and TeleMedicine Council of the Royal Society of Medicine.
Clive is one of a small team of global healthcare specialists within CSC. He is tasked with thinking about how CSC can best position itself to deliver the solutions that the healthcare markets around the world will need in 2-5 years time. He is currently leading CSC’s TeleHealth solution development, initially focusing on the UK and USA, and will then look to expand this globally.
