When it Comes to Cloud - We Take a Different Approach

This morning Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO, was being interviewed by Matt Lauer on Today on the occasion of being named Businessperson of the Year for 2012. It was then I realized that CSC and Amazon have a lot in common.

Matt Lauer asked how Amazon's Kindle competes with the "cool" company tablets from  Apple. Jeff praised Apple and then said - ". . .at Amazon we take a different approach." And there it was - how CSC is like Amazon!

There are at least 15 cloud providers recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. From this list CSC is a standout - we offer the tri-fecta of cloud: first we offer elegant IaaS, second advanced tools for self management or industry leading managed service and third we're one of a very few cloud providers to offer a complete application service practice to shape and transform applications to move them to the cloud - to extract all the value that cloud delivery can provide.

We take a different approach to cloud - our approach is workload driven and  just plain simple - simple to order, to onboard, to implement and to manage.
