Welcome to Ingenious Minds, I'm so happy to be a part of this new CSC Community.

Cloud Computing is a great fit for Ingenious Minds. This area of technology is evolving so rapidly, we are just beginning to tap the true potential of cloud capabilities. We, and our clients, are finding new, innovative applications for cloud services every day.

Cloud technologies are a critical part of the technology ecosystem that are making innovations possible in many areas of your everyday work and home life. You've probably already experienced the convenience of accessing a common e-mail from multiple locations, having pictures from your smart phone appear on your laptop or tablet automatically, or working with colleagues on a shared set of documents from multiple locations and time zones. These are just a few examples and we can expect to see many, many more.

There's a good chance that some of those applications will be running on a CSC cloud-based system. Our momentum in cloud computing is being recognized by the industry. In FY 2012, we recorded over $200 million in wins for our commercial cloud services and in the next year we have over $900 million in the pipeline.

Results like this underline the explosive growth of cloud-based services at CSC and in the industry as a whole, and it means that many more exciting services and capabilities are being planned by our customers.

Ingenious minds really are at work in this area. We've seen incredible advances in cloud technology and exciting applications develop in just the last twenty-four months. I can't wait to see what the next few years bring, and I'll be excited to share my discoveries with you!
