An effective airline system for Credit Card Authorization, minimizing manual procedures.

ACARD - short for Credit Card Authorization system - is an airline system for automatic authorization of Credit Cards. The system automatically authorizes an approval code from commercial credit card companies.

Functionality

• The ACARD system performs an online check with Commercial Credit Card Companies via SITA to validate the Credit Card information inserted as FOP (form of payment) in an Amadeus reservation or manually reported documents
  
• The ACARD system returns an authorization code and a document can be printed. All transactions not passing the validation will be rejected and no document printed
  
• Insertion of a manual approval code
  
• The authorization code is printed on the ticket and will be reported to the Credit Card Company Card Companies
