ASTRONAUT TO HEADLINE CSC'S FUTURE FOCUS INSURANCE CONFERENCE

Executives from Property and Casualty and Self-Insured Organizations to Convene for Third-Annual Industry Conference

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Sept. 1 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that one of NASA's most experienced astronauts, Dr. Story Musgrave, will be the keynote speaker at CSC's Future Focus 2005 conference for property and casualty (P&C) insurance executives.

Scheduled for Oct. 17-19 in Charleston, S.C., Future Focus will provide a forum for market leaders, industry analysts, members of the media and other influencers to discuss critical issues facing P&C insurers and self-insured organizations. CSC’s third-annual conference will include a wide range of speakers, president and CIO panel discussions, and 14 educational sessions.

Musgrave, who flew five space shuttles in his 30-year career with NASA, will kick off the conference theme, "Practical Innovation," by focusing on the importance of encouraging new ideas and innovative thinking. A pilot, surgeon, mechanic, poet and philosopher, Musgrave captured the essence of spaceflight through a variety of media, including photography, poetry and his own scientific experiments.

Future Focus, attended by approximately 110 P&C industry executives last year, will feature research by industry analyst firms TowerGroup and Celent, and insights by marketing strategist Carolyn A. Martin, Ph.D., on the topic "Your Future Customers: How to Attract and Retain the Just-in-Time Loyalty of Generation Y."

"Each year, Future Focus provides a unique blend of business and technology topics tailored to executives in P&C insurance and claims organizations," said Ray August, president of the Property and Casualty Division of CSC’s Financial Services Group. "With many years of industry experience represented at this conference, we will explore innovative approaches to common problems, discuss what works and what doesn’t, and share real-world results."
