Aegis Weapon System

Three Aegis destroyers
Shooting down a reentering satellite doesn’t happen by chance. CSC has been providing battle-proven command and control software for the U.S. Navy since 1970.

Among the systems developed by CSC are the weapons control system that orders the battle sequence and interfaces with aircraft, missiles and five-inch guns and the command and decision module that coordinates the radar with the weapons and ensures that combat decisions are effective.

CSC is now blending our vast expertise in complex weapon systems, systems integration and enterprise architecture to help the Navy provide an open architecture platform for Aegis command and control.
