CSC TO SUPPORT BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE ORGANIZATION AT KENNEDY SPACE CENTER

FALLS CHURCH, Va., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) has won a contract with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, to support the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization's (BMDO) research program at the Kennedy Space Center's Innovative Science and Technology Experimentation Facility. The indefinite-delivery, indefinite- quantity contract has a potential value of $15 million if all options are exercised during the 60-month agreement.

CSC will plan and execute experiments, as well as collect and analyze data for optical sensor systems and laser imagers at Kennedy Space Center. Work will be performed by the company's Warfighting and Information Dominance business unit and involve about 20 CSC employees and subcontractors.

Subcontractors Raytheon Company and Houston Research Associates will provide laser and optical expertise, respectively.
