Located in Washington, DC, CSC’s Border and Immigration Solutions (BIS) Center of Excellence is designed to help government organizations achieve their border security and immigration goals by deploying solutions involving: • Large-scale management of personally identifiable information (e.g., driver’s licenses, passports,voter registration ID, national identity cards) • Credential applicant risk analysis (e.g., visas) • Border event case management • Immigration services delivery and enforcement A Range of Proven Capabilities The Center’s mission is to provide clients with one-stop access to solution planning capabilities for projects involving: • Assessment of identity claims (e.g., civil identification, immigration processing) • Evaluation of immigration, criminal and national security risks • Sharing of intelligence and information • Deployment of reliable identity credentials (e.g., national identity, passports, trusted traveler programs) • Issuing of visas and other secure documents • Management of cases and incidents
Experienced CSC principal consultants provide subject matter expertise, business and political acumen, and consulting and system integration experience, facilitating the creation, delivery and support of well-designed, comprehensive, practical and achievable customer-focused solutions. Managing Personally Identifiable Information Working with other CSC divisions and Centers of Excellence, the BIS Center provides integrated solutions for managing personally identifiable information in several areas. These include civil and commercial identity management, business process management, identity-based risk assessment, immigration IT infrastructure modernization and business process transition planning, and secure inter- and intra-agency data sharing.
