TIPSS provides rapid access to the support services needed by the Department of Treasury to meet its evolving information management needs. This $380 million contract vehicle is a single source for a wide range of Information Systems Services, including all aspects of software development, project management, training, and quality assurance support services. CSC is also supporting the Department of Treasury with Strategic Business Services as it continues efforts to modernize IRS systems and processes. The TIPSS team has successfully supported the implementation of leading- edge technologies utilizing large-scale systems across functional areas on projects such as EMS, TREES and e-services. CSC has also contributed to the enhancement of IT Security through improved data security and user authentication as well as via the development of contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures and extensive ongoing risk analysis and resolution.
