News Release -- July 11, 2005

SMATIS FRANCE SELECTS CSC'S GRAPHTALK A.I.A

Aldershot, 11 July 2005 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC), a leading global information technology (IT) services firm, announced today that SMATIS France, a mutual insurance company, has selected CSC's GraphTalk A.I.A solution for the administration of its health and protection business.

GraphTalk A.I.A administers individual and group investment, health and traditional life and pensions products.

SMATIS France fully reviewed the life and pensions software market before choosing GraphTalk A.I.A. The company's decision was largely influenced by the software’s open and flexible product framework and its consolidated contact database, which will improve new product time-to-market and maximise the customer experience. Its multi-rule commission engine, which can easily integrate the various activities developed by SMATIS France's distinct legal entities, was also a strong winning factor for GraphTalk A.I.A.

The functional and technical maturity of GraphTalk A.I.A will enable SMATIS France to meet its objectives of delivering an improved and more efficient relationship with its members.

"Moreover, our mutual insurance company has chosen a market standard flows server interfaced with GraphTalk A.I.A, which facilitates the integration of the system in our environment”, comments Guy Pourtugau, Managing Director of SMATIS France.

Due to its Web-enabled architecture, SMATIS France will deploy GraphTalk A.I.A via the company’s intranet to 120 user workstations located at its main site in Angouleme and its 19 agencies.

“SMATIS France's decision to use GraphTalk A.I.A underlines CSC's ability to deliver market leading solutions in the Life & Pensions market in France,” said Jean-Charles Miginiac, managing director of CSC's Financial Services Group in France. “We will bring our extensive experience and knowledge of the mutual market to SMATIS France, as we look forward to a long-term and mutually beneficial relationship.”
