Company is 10th Insurer to Choose a CSC nbAccelerator ComponentEL SEGUNDO, Calif., June 13 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Thrivent Financial for Lutherans has licensed a component of CSC’s nbAccelerator (nbA) software to streamline its life insurance underwriting process.
CSC’s nbA product set is the life insurance industry's most complete new business process management and risk assessment software. Supporting multiple life and annuity products, distribution channels and administration systems, nbA seamlessly manages new business activities from sales illustration through contract issue.
Thrivent Financial has licensed CSC’s new nbA automated underwriting software component, which simplifies the integration of underwriting information within and outside insurers’ organizations. This nbA component includes a customizable knowledge base of widely used underwriting rules.
Thrivent Financial is the 10th insurer to license this recently released nbA component. Other licensees of this component include eight of the top 75 U.S. life insurers and an insurer headquartered in Canada.
