CSC LAUNCHES RISKMASTER BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE COMPONENT FOR THE SELF-INSURED MARKETPLACE

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., July 13 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced the addition of a business intelligence component to RISKMASTER, the leading risk management information system for self-insured organizations. More than 450 clients globally use the system to process, manage and analyze their claims data.

The new business intelligence component gives users interactive Web access to claims and loss reports, database information and other business data from a single, collaborative environment. Users can customize high-level reports for executive oversight or drill down into the system to get more granular data. The new component also provides easy, interactive access to detailed data for non-technical users.

By uniting all forms of information and applications from existing systems into one environment and providing a browser-based, drag-and-drop interface to generate reports, the business intelligence component significantly enhances RISKMASTER’s real-time and scheduled reporting capabilities. Using Business Objects’ Web Intelligence as its primary reporting engine, the component also allows users to quickly generate complex reports without programming or database management knowledge.

“This new component will help our clients stay ahead of the ever-increasing demand for real-time and robust enterprise reporting capabilities," said Ed Charlton, vice president of CSC's Claims, Legal and Self-Insured Solutions. “With quicker access to detailed, integrated data at the desktop, our clients can generate ad hoc reports in real time, analyze data and focus on the information they need to gain business value.”
