EL SEGUNDO, Calif., April 1, 2004 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that it has signed a three-year, $38 million information technology (IT) services contract with Allianz Australia, one of Australia’s leading insurers in both general insurance and workers’ compensation.
Under the contract, CSC will provide infrastructure support for Allianz Australia’s midrange systems, mainframes, local area networks and more than 3,000 desktops. CSC has worked with Allianz Australia since June 1999. Since then, their operations have doubled in size.
