Austin, Texas, Oct. 4 -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Swiss Reinsurance Corporation, Zurich, Switzerland, has signed a groupwide license agreement for CSC's reinsurance administration software, SICS/nt.

In establishing this partnership with CSC, Swiss Re will join a community of more than 70 companies on five continents using CSC's reinsurance software. Swiss Re and CSC will implement the property/casualty version of SICS/nt at multiple divisions operating in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

"The implementation of SICS/nt will enable us to improve the harmonization of our data on a global basis," said Yury Zaytsev, Swiss Re's group information officer and member of the Executive Board. "This will foster the efficiency of the administrative process in our company and as a result improve the delivery of services for our clients."

"CSC is pleased that Swiss Re has chosen SICS/nt to support its reinsurance processing requirements," said David Lister, vice president and head of reinsurance solutions within CSC's Financial Services Group. "Swiss Re holds a preeminent position in the world of reinsurance and has previously developed mission-critical applications in- house.
