Aviation Week Ranks CSC Among Top-Performing Aerospace Companies

Summary:
CSC ranked sixth among large aerospace companies in Aviation Week & Space Technology's annual Top-Performing Companies issue published on June 6, 2005. The rankings are intended to provide an accurate picture of how aerospace companies are performing and are based on weighted performance measures in four categories, including operating performance and strategy. The top 10 large aerospace companies for 2005 are as follows:
1. United Technologies Corp.
2. General Dynamics Corp.
3. L-3 Communications Holdings Inc.
4. Honeywell International Inc.
5. Parker Hannifin Corp.
6. Computer Sciences Corp.
7. Thales SA
8. Lockheed Martin Corp.
9. Northrop Grumman Corp.
10. Boeing Co.
In the accompanying feature article, Aviation Week & Space Technology editors stated that the performance rankings are a measurement of continued improvement across the enterprise, including the delivery of verifiable results. CSC attained the highest ranking in the strategy category, among all large companies rated.
