With ever-increasing competition from other global, world-class network providers, the client needed to achieve greater strategic focus through increased productivity, mobility and agility. The client therefore felt it had to allow its internal IS organization to focus on strategic initiatives.
Collaborating for Results
The solution lay in CSC and client establishing a relationship whereby client IS maintained overall accountability and authorization for IS investment and all business impacting commitments, changes and performance decisions. This enabled CSC to focus on delivering best in class IT services. Key to this was the transition of nearly 2,000 client employees to CSC.
