CSC RECEIVES U.S. ARMY MAINTENANCE SUPPORT TASK ORDERS WORTH $347 MILLION


FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 6 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that the U.S. Air Force has awarded the company eight task orders to provide logistics and maintenance support to the U.S. Army Regional Aviation Sustainment Management - East (RASM-E) and - West (RASM-W). The task orders each have a one-year base period and a one-year option, and are collectively valued at $347 million. The task orders are awarded under the Contract Field Teams contract, originally awarded to CSC in July 2008. The task orders were awarded to CSC during the company's fiscal 2009 fourth quarter.

Under the terms of the task orders, CSC will provide a comprehensive range of aviation maintenance and repair services for rotary wing aircraft previously deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom to ensure aircraft are in full mission-capable condition. Qualified CSC maintenance personnel will inspect, repair, overhaul and make modifications and technology upgrades to aircraft prior to their redeployment to Iraq and Afghanistan.

"CSC's Applied Technology Group is responsible for a large portion of the U.S. Army's aircraft maintenance and modification services in the contiguous United States, and these new task orders are a testament to CSC's solid leadership and proven expertise in this area."

The primary maintenance support facilities for RASM-E will be at Fort Bragg, N.C.; Fort Campbell, Ky.; Fort Stewart, Ga.; and Hunter Army Airfield, Ga. For RASM-W, primary facilities will be located in Killeen, Temple and San Angelo, Texas.
