At CSC in India, we lay emphasis on strong domain expertise to provide effective services to our clients. Our teams include domain experts who operate as business analysts and complement the technical team. Typically, there is one business analyst for every seven technical resources in a group.

The technical people are also required to undergo basic level of industry education. For example, all our software engineers serving Life Insurance, P&C Insurance and Healthcare industries are required to attain a minimum industry qualification within a stipulated time of joining.

The certifications, required to be completed by our people, are offered by some of the best institutes in the world. These include:

• LOMA / FLMI certification and licentiate — Life Insurance domain


• INS and CPCU certification — Property and Casualty Insurance domain


• CAIIB and International Banking certification offered by the Indian Institute of Bankers (IIB), and training by the National Institute of Banking Studies (NIBSCOM) — Banking domain


• Certification by Academy of Healthcare Management (AHM) — Healthcare domain


• Project Management Professional training by Project Management Institute (PMI) — Project Management domain

Over 40 per cent of our employees have at least one of these certifications.
