Industry-Academia Integration

CSC in India, actively engages with many academic institutes in India from both management and technical streams to ensure that the academia is in sync with the emerging needs of the industry. As a part of this program, CSC in India promotes the following programs:
Seminars & Workshops for Faculty Development: CSC believes that a trained faculty can help bridge the gap between the requirements of the IT industry and the skill sets brought to the table by the graduating students. CSC works with academia and sponsors sabbaticals for faculty interested in bridging this gap.
CSC Guest Faculty: CSC’s senior management has extensive knowledge that helps in empowering the IT strategy and businesses of our clients globally. CSC’s management frequently offer their time and availability to share insights and also provide programs of interest to academic institutes.
CSC in India, is an active member of NASSCOM's IT Workforce Development task force and promotes all these activities through NASSCOM as well. CSC already has relationships established with many institutes and would be keen to assist many more.
Towards its efforts to bridge the industry-academia gap, CSC in India has introduced a unique collaborative open innovation network (COIN) program in February 2007. This program will go beyond industry project-based collaboration, creating an ecosystem that will include mentoring of students, collecting and aggregating ideas for the introduction of technology-enabled services and working on government-sponsored programs. If you are interested in any of the programs, kindly contact us.
