CSC LifeWorks Regulatory Compliance Solution Now Available For the Life Sciences Industry
Solution Uses Documentum 5 Platform to Meet Business and Compliance Needs
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Oct. 28 -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC), a leading global information technology (IT) services firm, announced today the availability of its CSC LifeWorks for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Controlled Documents solution.
This latest CSC LifeWorks solution is based on Documentum 5, an industry-leading enterprise document and content management platform. Designed for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and diagnostics companies, the Web-enabled solution delivers a complete set of content management, workflow and collaboration functions for managing and sharing SOPs and other controlled content across a global network. It also allows compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practices (GCP), OSHA regulations, ISO 9000 quality guidelines and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.
