Real-World Data Research: A Case for Action

Real-world data research, a high-priority competency of life science companies, is used throughout the drug development and commercialization process. Our survey found that most life science executives understand the importance of real-world data, yet believe there are many internal and external barriers to achieving effective use. This paper provides a summary of survey findings and outlines five recommendations to maximize benefits from the resources spent on real-world data research.
