CR2 is the US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Rapid Response Program. It is an eight year contract available to Department of Defense (DOD) and other Federal Agencies to provide rapid access to products and services to research, develop, upgrade, install, fabricate, test, operate, maintain and support new and existing platforms, systems, and subsystems. Non-Federal agencies may use the CR2 contract if the work is within the scope of the contract and Federal funds are used to fund the effort. CR2 is CECOM's primary Homeland Defense Security contract.
