CSC Teams with General Dynamics, Harris, and Cisco to Pursue U.S. Navy Enterprise Services Contract

FALLS CHURCH, Va., Jan. 20 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it is teaming with General Dynamics Information Technology, Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), and Cisco (NYSE:CSCO) to pursue an anticipated five-year contract to provide information technology (IT) enterprise services for the U.S. Navy. The contract covers one of multiple service areas under the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) initiative, which aims to achieve the Navy’s vision of a fully integrated naval networking environment.
The CSC-led team will compete to provide end user computing services, application integration and hosting, portal and data storage, and other IT infrastructure and cybersecurity services. The team has a proven record of successfully delivering secure, complex IT programs to military and government agencies on a global scale.

NGEN is the follow-on to the Navy Marine Corps Intranet initiative.
