CSC SIGNS NEW $25 MILLION AGREEMENT WITH WOODSIDE

New Contract Expands CSC Support of Australia Oil and Gas GroupEL SEGUNDO, Calif., Sept. 12 -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has signed a three-year, $25 million (AUD$30 million) information technology (IT) services contract with international oil and gas group Woodside (ASX: WPL).
The new contract follows a recently completed one-year IT services agreement CSC had with Woodside, Australia’s largest publicly traded oil and gas exploration and production company. Under the new agreement, CSC will continue to provide a full range of IT services, including data center hosting, enterprise monitoring, help desk, desktop support, database administration, data recovery, asset management, server support and change management.
“We are delighted that Woodside has renewed its contract with CSC,” said Mike Shove, managing director of CSC’s operations in Australia. “This new agreement reaffirms our ability to deliver operational results and further solidifies our leadership in the resources and mining sector.”
