Elevate Your Game with Powerful RMIS Technology
The latest version of CSC’s RISKMASTER®, RISKMASTER X r7, offers unprecedented levels of support for claims and risk management, including RMIS functionality for advanced business intelligence and improved decision making.
The world’s leading independent RMIS and claims management solution, RISKMASTER helps organizations more efficiently and cost effectively administer all aspects of liability and workers’ compensation incidents and claims.
RISKMASTER, which was recently licensed by six new clients representing a wide range of industries including education, food service, healthcare and heavy equipment, features major enhancements made over the past five years that provide self-insured companies, corporate and carrier claims departments, insurance pools and third-party administrators with broader capabilities in analytics and policy management.
Other improvements include an enhanced user interface and better integration with Microsoft Outlook and other associated applications. The system, which supports all industries, conveys information through interactive visual analytics, including dashboards that offer real-time updates.
“The latest functional updates make RISKMASTER even easier to use and more powerful,” said Jeff Ninowski, RISKMASTER Business Solutions manager, CSC. “Clients have more flexible options and additional robust tracking features that help provide immediate knowledge of their organization’s loss exposure and support faster, more informed decision making.”
Improve Tracking, Elevate Security for Workers’ Comp
Functional updates include the following:
- Time Zone Validation — Records entries based on user location rather than servers housed elsewhere
- Check Stub Printing — Enables customization based on transaction type
- Confidential Records in BES — Allows clients to mark workers’ compensation claims and other selected records as confidential and restrict access (for Business Entity Security users)
- ISO Claim Indexing — Enables clients to select individual claims for transmittal to ISO
- Entity Data Elements — Allows users to label multiple addresses/phone numbers for easier identification
- Integration with Microsoft Outlook — Enables users to automatically attach text and attachments to Outlook messages. This feature also allows message tracking
- Task Manager Auto Diary Notification — Provides failure notifications
- Reserve Worksheet Configuration Options — Allows users to select transactions for display on individual tabs by line of business
- Improved Integration with Legal Solutions Suite — Improves communication regarding payments
- Field Level Audit — Tracks how users access and change specific data fields (for clients with the Business Intelligence tool and either SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition or ORACLE 11g)
Enhance Property Management and Risk Accuracy
The system also includes new optional features for claims tracking. “We’ve created a new line of business for convenient, standalone tracking of property claims,” said Ninowski. “We’ve also added auto and property areas to the policy management component and included functionality that fine-tunes risk based on vehicle type. These enhancements reflect input from our large and very active client community. Clients play an integral role in shaping product direction — something that we believe contributes directly to RISKMASTER’s profound success.”
Adopt a System that Advances Your Business
The RMIS functionality within RISKMASTER allows organizations to easily consolidate claims data from legacy systems, assess and analyze it, and extract and export data for reporting purposes, largely without IT or CSC support. Designed for users of all skill levels, the system offers a broad array of features that help lower costs, take advantage of new opportunities and mitigate future losses.
“CSC clients have relied on RISKMASTER to help them manage claims data and analyze risk quickly and effectively for 20 years,” said Ninowski. “In an age of dramatic technology change, that’s a long time. Many of our clients feel RISKMASTER is absolutely essential to their workers’ comp programs. No other system on the market today offers the ease of use, range of capabilities and immediate access to new data.”
