Introducing Legal Solutions Suite 3.0
The latest release of CSC’s software for managing outside counsel, Legal Solutions Suite® 3.0, is generally available.
In addition to providing end-to-end support for legal billing and case management, Legal Solutions Suite 3.0 features a whole new look and feel. Working with the software users’ community and CSC’s Usability Lab, the development team improved both the navigation and the overall user interface.
User Friendly Dashboards
In addition, CSC introduced easy-to-read dashboards for both adjuster and financial information. These new dashboards provide an overview of each case’s budget, actual costs, pending invoices and key dates and deliverables. Users can view information at any level — company, division or law firm — and view year-to-year comparisons.
“Dashboard technology allows users to make business decisions quicker and provides real-time data in one location,” said Joe Benson, CSC's Legal Solutions director of development. “We’ve received a great deal of interest from our existing clients in incorporating dashboard functions into Legal Solutions Suite.”
Integrated Risk and Litigation Management
The new version also fully integrates with CSC’s RISKMASTER® claims and risk management software to better serve the growing number of self-insured organizations and TPAs that have licensed the system.
Featuring real-time data transfer, Benson said, “These integrated products combine both risk and litigation management in one solution.”
Other New Features
Other new features of Legal Solutions Suite 3.0 include:
- Entry of third-party expenses
- Multiple reconsiderations of billing decisions
- Intake and Legal Bill Analyzer screens migrated to .Net architecture
- Redesign of Matters Search Page and To Do List
- Global staffing updates when rate increases are granted
- Conversion of HTML pages to PDF documents
- Removal of the Notification phase
- Elimination of Active X Control downloads.
