CSC’s DynMcDermott Supports U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve Efforts
In his recent State of the Union address, President George W. Bush detailed a proposal for the Department of Energy to double the current capacity of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR). The SPR is the largest stockpile of government-owned crude oil in the world, and President Bush said the plan is designed to further protect the United States from severe disruptions to the nation’s oil supply.
DynMcDermott Petroleum Operations, a CSC firm, manages and operates the SPR under a long-term agreement with the Department of Energy. In addition to successfully managing the SPR, DynMcDermott has captured several prestigious quality and management awards.
