Three Wins in Three Countries in One Day

Team CSC scored a remarkable hat trick Thursday on the roads of Europe, winning races in three different events in France, Denmark and Germany. It’s uncommon for one team to compete in three races at the same time and even more exceptional to claim victory all on the same day.
Fabian Cancellara won Thursday’s second stage and grabbed the overall leader’s jersey at the Tour of Denmark while Jens Voigt attacked his way to a breakthrough victory in his home tour in the second stage at the nine-day Tour of Germany. Marcus Ljungqvist completed the sweep with a win at the Paris-Correze race in France. Not a bad day at the office. In fact, the three-win day may be a first in modern cycling. What do you think?
