Petr Špinar Joins CSC as Managing Director of Eastern European Operations

PRAGUE, December 15, 2010 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that Petr Špinar, 50, joined the company as managing director of CSC’s Eastern European operations. He reports to Gerhard Fercho, president of CSC’s Europe,
Effective immediately, Petr Špinar will be responsible for all new and existing business of CSC subsidiaries in Eastern Europe. The region covers the Baltics, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Serbia, hosting three world sourcing centers (North, Central and South). His responsibilities will include developing sales strategies in this area, leveraging alliances to support growth goals, and strengthening CSC’s presence in the marketplace.
Špinar most recently served as the country general manager at Motorola, Czech Republic, managing Motorola`s business in the country and responsible for business development. During his career he has held various executive management positions in Czech Republic and the Central and Eastern Europe region. Prior to joining Motorola, Špinar worked for Hewlett-Packard as alliance director for Eastern and Central Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Špinar is a graduate of The University of Technology Brno, Czech Republic, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication - Technical Cybernetics and Measurement Techniques.
