Train Drivers Information System - DIS

DIS is an Information System for Train Driver and related personnel and provides all relevant information relating to the operation of a train in an electronic form in the cab of a train (e.g. details on Topology, Speeds and timing, Operational guidelines, etc.)
The primary use of DIS is in the direct operation of the locomotives. The system provides the interface between the train drivers and dispatchers to exchange all relevant and current route information.
The data is available on a mobile device connected to the Internet. The origin of the information is the standard schedule and topology databases with adjustments based on the actual situation. DIS provides a single electronic source of information for the driver replacing a variety of complex legacy paperwork.
