The Rail Cargo Management System (RCMS) is a solution for Freight Train Operating Companies (FTOC). It is positioned in the core of rail operations. The solution supports the operational and commercial processes for (local) private factory railways or long distance rail freight operators. RCMS can handle a multi-layered chain of logistics and rail partners for the completion of cargo orders. RCMS combines Planning, Operations Management, Order Management and Settlement, Vehicule Monitoring in a single integrated software solution. Additional modules provide capability for resource planning and for financial clearance of the orders. The IT solution is modularly constructed and can be configured to the specific needs of a customer.
