PTS/SMV, SEPA Message Validator including Clearing Simulation

Driven by the new SEPA rulebook issued for 2010 and the ISO subset 2009 for SEPA, banks and their service providers are facing the need to generate new test files in order to accommodate the massive changes in the various SEPA clearing formats. In addition to these challenges, new Cash Management Messages (CAMT) within the SEPA clearing process are being introduced this year.

The Clearing simulator CSC SMV presented during the 2009 EBAdays in Vienna as PTS/CLE, is now available as a service. You will now be able to send any test SEPA clearing payment to our new CSC service, which will return a corresponding SEPA clearing message.

The clearing simulator CSC SMV considerably reduces test efforts for banks and clearing houses participating in the SEPA. On the one hand CSC SMV validates SEPA files in the formats of EBA Clearing and Deutsche Bundesbank SEPA Clearer in current and upcoming format accordant with Roolbook Version 4.

On the other hand, it simulates the behavior of a test partner sending responses or mirrored SEPA files to you on cue. This enables you to close business test gaps and to test end to end SEPA business requirements including SEPA R-messages. In addition to numerous Reject-, Return-, Refund- and Reversal messages, CSC SMV handles the new Cash Management Messages (CAMT) for “Requests for Cancellation” and the new Credit Transfer Recalls.
