CSC Insurance Factory / IT Components Design Office

The Design Office is a platform on which an insurance company can define itself with all of its processes, structures, rules, products, etc.  New products can be completely designed using VP/MS and its product components. VP/MS allows the product manager to develop, test and document a new product in the VP/MS Workplace. Designed product models can be reviewed against any modelling standards (VP/MS Checker) to improve the quality of the model and to reduce testing and integration costs.  As a central product server, VP/MS supplies product knowledge in encapsulated form and also on a cross-platform basis. User-defined rules, value tables, calculations and parameters for product design and other applications, such as accounting, can be entered into VP/MS.

The VP/MS J-VPMS and/or CSC-posAccelerator components allow the design of graphic user interfaces and/or web interfaces.

The integrated CSC-printAccelerators design components allow the design of print documents. The CSC-printAccelerator consolidates data from different application components in a context-specific manner and edits them in the desired format, e.g., as PDF file. The CSC-printAccelerator Previewer allows the user to control the print result incorporating the actual data in a page preview.
