Payroll Specialist

Location: Prague

Role accountabilities will include:

• Prepares and reviews payroll and expense payments for area of assignment
• Answers complex employee questions and inquires about tax, underpayments, overpayments deductions and direct deposits
• Reviews, researches and adjusts time records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policy in order to complete the payroll file and process the payroll
• Prepares and distributes payroll reports to the Shared Services accounting department, the business unit and the corporate office as needed
• Assists with the reconciliation of quarterly payroll taxes and year-end employee earnings statements
• Coordinates preparation and distribution of payroll reports to the corporate office, group headquarters and local business units as required
• Reconciles pay files and submissions to ensure accuracy and audit compliance.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Several years of SAP HCM payroll experience
• Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and tax forms
• Good personal computer and business solutions software skills.
• Excellent communications skills to interact with employees, co-workers and management
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be fluent in English, additional language abilities are an advantage
