Application Architect
Location: Sofia

CSC Bulgaria currently employs over 600 IT specialists developing information systems used by some of the largest insurance companies in Europe.
In order to support the smooth expansion of our business and to strengthen our teams, we are looking for an experienced professional for the position of Application Architect.
Role accountabilities will include:
- Define and deploy the product architecture
- Conducts technical research, evaluation, testing, analysis, and documentation of hosting/configuration tools and methodologies
- Creates application architectures and populates application host/configuration matrices with appropriate strategies, timelines, and cost information
- Plans technical support infrastructure through the creation of service level agreements.
- Leads the transition from program development to support
- Defines and approves application standards and specifications
- Provides oversight for definition of product content
Requirements:
- About 2-5 years of relevant experience in design, development, maintenance, and implementation of application software on multiple technical platforms
- Experience in one of the following technologies: Java or C/C++
- Experience in DBMS and SQL
- Fluency in English language.
- A creative person able to make decisions in a timely and independent manner under tight deadlines
