• Insurance
  
  Insurance is the main business area of CSC Bulgaria activities. Provided services for this industry is about 80% of all CSC Bulgaria business. Focused mainly on life insurance business processing, we provide complete Software solutions for health, savings and risk life insurance. We also provide solutions for non life insurance.
  
  Since 2000, it is with CSC’s insurance framework GraphTalk A.I.A. that CSC Bulgaria has been responding to its customers' needs in the insurance industry.
  
  GraphTalk A.I.A is acknowledged as Europe's leading insurance platform for life, pensions, health and general insurance designed to simplify insurance processes, reduce risk and IT complexity. So far, A.I.A has been implemented in 100 client environments, in more than 25 countries. Our participation for this product is in the development and corrective maintenance and support of custom applications based on GraphTalk A.I.A.
  
  In the field of life insurance, CSC Bulgaria is also present with LiFE Project (previously called LiFE/400) started in the beginning of 2009. LiFE is a life and pensions administration system that is targeted at the AS/400 hardware platform. It is a mature product that supports investment and traditional products on a grouped and individual basis.
  
  Since 2008, CSC Bulgaria has been working in the field of reinsurance with the SICS/NT Project.
  
  SICS/NT is the world’s foremost suite of applications for the reinsurance market. The project includes creation of SICS reports, generation of web services frontends, general testing and system implementation support.
  
  
• Healthcare
  
  CSC Bulgaria has been working in this vertical almost since its establishment. We have worked on the development and support of a system for administration and scheduling of the doctors’ activities and special equipment.
  
  In 2005 and 2006 we also provided software development services for a system for blood banking and blood transfusion management. CSC Bulgaria developed new modules for the integration of the system in the American Red Cross.
  
  We have also participated in IT infrastructure implementation for our healthcare customers.
  
  
• Enterprise Solutions
  
  Many of our clients are Independent Software Vendors (ISV) of enterprise products or companies, which develop their own ERP systems or modules. They outsource to us different activities on the R&D process of their products.
  
  
• Finance
  
  We have been active in financial services, not just in the insurance domain. We entered this vertical in 1997 with the software product Financial Portfolio Manager (FPM). Together with CSC Charenton, France, we have been developing this complex investment allocation and trading system. It includes management of private and institutional portfolios, various financial products (securities, derivatives, funds (OPCVM)...), integrated life insurance contracts, custodian adaptive reconciliation, management of prescribers' roles and fees.
  
  
• Transport
  
  CSC Bulgaria has strong experience in the implementation of information systems in the transport industry.
  
  - Tolls Systems
  
  We started our activities in this vertical in 1999, as provider of software development services for a suite of software systems for highway management and supervision.
  
  It is a complete solution, which handles different payment methods, including magstripe tickets, smart cards, contactless cards and ultra-high frequency systems. Systems of this suite are installed in France, China, Malaysia, Argentina, Brazil and Chile.
  
  - Rail Traffic Management
  
  We started our activities in this domain in 2004 with the system’s implementation of software for international train management. Other services we provided to our customer include support for the tender procedure, requirements analysis, preparation of the detailed specification, detailed design and development, support for the integration, etc.
  
  
• Engineering Software
  
  As a proof of our goal to be positioned in the high-value services and continuously to grow our technology excellence is our long-term participation in the area of the engineering applications design and development, which ease the human/computer interaction. Customers of many business areas such as logistics, aerospace, etc. use these products.
  
  CSC Bulgaria has been participating in different engineering projects: from base translators from one simulation language into another to integrated development environments for mission critical real-time systems.
