DynPort Named to The Scientist Best Places to Work in Industry

DynPort Vaccine Company LLC, a CSC company, was named to The Scientist magazine’s Best Places to Work in Industry 2012. Ranked 9 of 20, this is DynPort’s fourth year on the list, which is celebrating its tenth year of publication.

“Small companies excel at fostering scientific excellence and nurturing their employees, which is why it’s no surprise that 6 of the top 10 companies in this year’s survey have fewer than 200 employees,” said The Scientist in a statement.

DynPort employs about 90 people in Frederick, Md. A full two-thirds of DynPort employees have been with the company for five years or longer.

“DynPort is a great place to work, with a team of passionate, dedicated professionals” said President Dr. Robert V. House. “Every day we’re doing exciting work developing products to prevent and treat disease, making the world a little bit safer.”

“Whether big or small, the 20 companies that topped our industry survey this year have proven resilient in the face of an ever-changing economic landscape,” said Cristina Luiggi, editor of The Scientist survey. Companies were ranked based on a survey of more than 2,000 industry researchers.
