DVC and our employees maintain active memberships in several industry organizations. By participating, DVC shares and further develops expertise in biopharmaceutical product development and related topics, and gives back to the community and our employees.
DVC's affiliations include:
- Alliance for Biosecurity - DVC is on the board of directors and a founding member; we are helping shape industry guidance on licensing biodefense biologics under the FDA Animal Rule as part of this group.
- Frederick Chamber of Commerce - DVC has been a Chamber member for many years, and all employees enjoy member benefits.
- National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center (NBACC) Science and Technology Advisory Committee - DVC President Dr. Robert V. House is a member.
- Tech Council of Maryland/MdBio - DVC employees participate in various committees and events, and Dr. House is on the board of directors.
- U.S. Chamber of Commerce - DVC is a business member.
In addition to the organizations listed above, several DVC employees serve as adjunct professors or advisors to academic institutions such as Frederick Community College, Hood College and Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, individual employees are encouraged to join appropriate professional organizations to further their professional development.
