INDEPENDENT RESEARCH REPORT CITES CSC AS A LEADER IN EUROPEAN REMOTE INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Dec. 20 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has been cited as a leader in the Forrester Wave report, “European Remote Infrastructure Management, Q4 2006” (December 2006). In the report, CSC received the highest overall score in terms of market presence for European remote infrastructure management (RIM).The report evaluated the leading European and global service providers’ remote infrastructure services across 24 criteria using the Forrester Wave methodology. Companies are measured on current offering, strategy and market presence.
The report found that “CSC is best suited for flexible global delivery,” and has “effectively used intimate client relationships to promote adoption of its Dynamic Sourcing concept to gain a solid position in Europe.” In addition, Forrester noted that “CSC includes RIM as a key component of its strategy in its drive to reach leading status in the RIM area.”
“The Forrester report highlights CSC’s noted strengths in delivery capabilities,” said Richard Ricks, president of CSC’s Global Infrastructure Services group. “We believe these strengths are based on consistency in our worldwide standards, processes and methodology, as well as our virtual data center service approach.”
According to the report, “CSC’s vision also includes further deployment of remote infrastructure management solutions to drive its offshoring/nearshoring program. In this sense CSC has a true global delivery model.”
