Nyhedsartikel -- Juni 28, 2006
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., June 28 – Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that it has been listed in the “leaders” quadrant of the Gartner report, Magic Quadrant for Storage Services, 2Q06. The report positions vendors of storage services based on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision.According to Gartner, “Leaders are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership in the market.”
Authored by Adam W. Couture and Robert E. Passmore, the report covers service providers in North America. To qualify, providers need to have at least $100 million in annual storage service revenue (exclusive of revenue from physical tape vaulting) and cater to multiple market segments in North America.
"We continue to expand and enhance our expertise in managed storage and are pleased with our position in this report," said Richard Ricks, president of CSC's Global Infrastructure Services Group. "We are committed to delivering managed storage solutions that address clients' needs and produce the business results they seek."
Service providers are positioned in the Magic Quadrant based on formal presentations by participating vendors, client reference checks and analyst knowledge of the market.
