CSC LISTED IN ‘LEADERS’ QUADRANT OF EUROPEAN NETWORK SERVICE PROVIDERS REPORT

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., July 7 -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that it has been listed in the “leaders” quadrant of the Gartner report, Magic Quadrant for Pan European Network Service Providers, 20051. The report positions leading providers of managed network services based on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision.According to Gartner, “Leaders offer a wide range of high-quality services at acceptable prices to companies of various sizes and types with deep and broad geographic coverage.” Authored by Neil Rickard and Jean-Claude Delcroix, the report covers suppliers of fixed, corporate network solutions that include data, voice and converged services.

Gartner considers several criteria when evaluating service providers for the Magic Quadrant, including long-term strategy, customer focus, quality of service, pricing and the ability to innovate. Gartner defines vendors listed in the leader’s quadrant as performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market.
