CSC RECEIVES ‘POSITIVE’ VENDOR RATING FROM ANALYST FIRM
Nyhedsartikel -- Marts 31, 2009
FALLS CHURCH, Va., March 31 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced that Gartner Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, has rated CSC "Positive" in a report entitled Vendor Rating: CSC, authored by Christopher Ambrose, Richard T. Matlus, Ian Marriott, Jim Longwood, Eric Goodness, Ted Chamberlin, Alex Soejarto and Allie Young, and published on March 20, 2009.
Gartner Vendor Ratings assess all the different aspects of a technology provider, such as its strategy, organization, products, technology, marketing, financials and support. Vendor Ratings help the user understand how providers are competing and performing, how they are delivering against their vision and strategy, and how they are set up to survive in the long term.
"We believe Gartner's ‘Positive' rating confirms CSC's unified global efforts to deliver high-value solutions to our customers," said David Booth, president of CSC's Global Sales and Marketing. "Further, we believe this status reflects the progress we've made through strategic initiatives and investments during the past 18 months."
