Global
In March 2009, CSC announced that it has achieved global ISO 20000 and 9001 certifications from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance.
In July 2005, CSC’s Global Transformation Services (GTS) achieved CMMI Level 3 as one of the largest global organizations to ever complete an appraisal. CSC’s GTS organization supports more than 100 outsourcing accounts and involves more than 14,200 employees globally. This appraisal underscores a global capacity for providing high-quality, low-cost applications services.
CSC has the following achievements against the SEI model: three CMMI Level 2, 11 CMMI Level 3 and two CMMI Level 5 (Aegis Program and Financial Services Sector in India) ratings.
Americas
Nearly 30 CSC groups supporting U.S. civil and defense organizations have been certified compliant with ISO 9001:2000. Numerous projects and organizations, such as CSC’s Training Center of Excellence, have also been certified ISO 9001-compliant.
In November 2006, CSC’s North American Public Sector (NPS) became the first business unit to earn an enterprise-wide CMMI Level 3 distinction. The rating involved hundreds of people and 40 programs. SEI reports that the magnitude of the credential can’t be matched by any of our competitors.
CSC achieved the world’s first rating against the old CMMI Acquisition model, with CSC’s IRS PRIME Program rated at Level 3.
CSC has more than 200 internal auditors and five lead auditors trained in ISO 9001:2000 certification. We periodically conduct surveillance audits to refresh our certificates on various programs.
Asia
CSC in India has achieved both ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 20000. CSC in India has upgraded its information security certification from BS 7799:2002 to ISO 27001:2005, the latest international standard specification for an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
CSC’s Financial Services Sector (FSS) India-based software delivery is assessed at the highest level of process maturity, SEI CMMI Level 5. FSS India has also achieved SEI People-CMM Level 5.
CSC's Maybank account in Malaysia and Singapore achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification in April 2008.
Australia
CSC was the first major IT outsourcing organization in Australia to achieve the global ISO/IEC 20000-1: 2005 certification, in August 2007.
Europe
CSC has achieved international environmental standard ISO 14001 for its European headquarters.
CSC has achieved Systems Security Engineering CMM Level 5, the first organization in the world to achieve this award.
CSC was the first major IT services company in the UK to achieve BS 15000 (now ISO/IEC 20000).
In 2002, CSC UK received SEI CMM Level 5, the first time the UK subsidiary of an IT services organization achieved this level of recognition.
In 2007, the CSC Zurich Financial Services account in Germany achieved SEI CMMI Level 3.
