CSC Offers Government Clients Fast, Easy Access to Security Solutions Under New GSA Contract

FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 31 – The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) awarded CSC (NYSE: CSC) a Schedule 84 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract that allows federal, state and local government agencies to quickly acquire a range of cyber, managed services and physical security solutions. The contract was awarded during CSC’s fiscal 2011 fourth quarter and has a five-year performance period.

Under the terms of the contract, CSC will compete for task orders to provide federal, state and local customers with security solutions in four areas:

• Security systems integration and design services – involving security integration and management to support security products or systems through their life cycle.
• Security management and related support services – providing best practices, technologies and methodologies to plan, design, manage, operate and maintain secure and protected systems, equipment, facilities and infrastructures.
• Security system lifecycle support – providing design, coding, integration, testing, deploying, repair and maintenance of integrated security systems, and training across all platforms, enterprise wide, for the complete life cycle of the system.
• Professional security and facility management services – including training and consulting for facility management and security.
