CSC Contracts for Conformance Testing
Many government agencies require that IT Security or related products have an executed contract for testing in place with an accredited Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP) Laboratory before they will purchase the product. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) maintains an official "Modules In Progress" list, but until a product actually enters the conformance testing phase there is no way to get added to this list. Because of this, IT Security or related products that have executed contracts but are still in the pre-testing phase lose their competitive edge to those listed as being a module already in the process of conformance testing.
CSC is dedicated to serving our customers by maintaining a list of products that have contracted with us to be validated but are currently in the pre-testing stage.
The companies listed herein have executed contracts with CSC's Security Testing and Certification Laboratory (STCL) and are working towards having their product(s) accepted into the program to obtain CMVP Validation. Please be aware that when the validation effort begins, the entries listed below (e.g., Product Name, Overall Level, etc.) may change as the effort progresses due to changes in the product or level requirements. It is best to confirm the below information with the Evaluation Sponsor to obtain the most current product or testing level information.
This list is for information purposes only and the security products and Protection Profiles listed are done so with the permission of the sponsor.
