Our Laboratories: United States
United States
CSC’s U.S.-based Common Criteria Testing Laboratory performs its evaluations in accordance with both the international Common Criteria standards and the guidance provided by the CCEVS, known as the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP), an organization managed jointly by the NIST and the National Security Agency (NSA). The guidance provided by the NIAP reflects a more stringent interpretation of the Common Criteria standards than Common Criteria processes in other countries. Our experience over the past several years indicates that this stringency results in a more thorough evaluation of a Target of Evaluation (TOE) and increases the likelihood of product acceptance by U.S. Government agencies. An evaluation by the CSC U.S.-based CCTL; therefore, provides a significant advantage to companies seeking to market their security products to the U.S. Government. In addition, the CSC U.S.-based CCTL has a long association with the NIAP and a close relationship with the NIAP validators, which help facilitate our record of successful evaluations.
